Fumvhu is the closest primary school to Kidia. Its rural location in the foothills of Kilimanjaro means that the land is susceptible to a large volume of seasonal water run-off, leading to soil erosion and structural building problems. As most of the community rely on subsistence farming, there is insufficient funding to maintain or improve school infrastructure.
