As with most rural schools in Cambodia, Ta Lek is very underfunded and struggles with basic maintenance. The school currently serves 386 pupils, though this is set to increase in the coming years.

 

In 2016 our volunteers painted five classrooms and worked to improve the school garden. In 2017, we constructed rest areas and outdoor seating for the children to enhance their lesson breaks.
